The company Ashok Manufacturing Co. Pvt. Ltd. Was founded in 1935.The present director of company is Mr. Achal nath who is has done his Btech from IIT DELHI.It is one of the branch of ABI INDIA GROUP.It has been upgrading its technology from time to time to meet market competition.Initally it manufactured steel items like sinks. Later on it started manufacturing DBM(dynamic balancing machine),CNC machines and equipments for automation of plants.It had collaboration with company of England ,later on it broke due to shutting down of company. Now the complete pressure was on company to upgrade its technology .So it started its own R&D which is great success. It is said to be best DBM producer all over the India from accuracy point of view and cost point of view. In 1984, AMC manufactured a balancing machine which can check the balancing of a cylinder of diameter 30 ft and 70 ft high. The major competitor of company is amada.

Employee Strength:

Right now the average production of CNC turret punch press is around 1.5 a month, which they want to double. Also the greatest problem they are facing is to create proper international market for their product. They also want to reduce the cost of dynamic balancing machine.

Plants Layout

It has collaboration with Kawasaki who provides it robots. It also market product manufactured by different companies like FFT Analysers by Diadnostic Instruments, U.K .

In this we were told about the machine data, its installation, description, balancing theory, and machine maintenance etc.it is basically divided in two parts which is electronic part and mechanical part and the electronic part. first when machine is prepared then it is given automation by electronic parts., which require PLC programming.

Study of turret punch press

We have been given a form in which we take observation of workers while they work and note what they are doing and problem they are facing. After the observation will be complete some possible solution will be given based on analysis.
