Perform forced break even student doesnt perform well initially

“If the CPA falls below mid-band, we perform a forced break.” Even if a student doesn’t perform well initially, he may compensate at a later stage. Why forced break?

“Suppose the forced break occurred during Cycle-3. On reattempt, you start covering those questions which he got wrong in the first attempt, and then move to the as yet untouched questions.” There are high chances that he will get wrong again by attempting only those questions in which he did wromg. This way he will never able to complete unless he becomes totally master. And in that case stage-1 is redundant.
