In the beginning it was just a steel goods manufacturing company but today this group has become a trusted name in the manufacturing field. The ABI group is the sole distributor of Kawasaki Robots, Adept technology, ATI-industrial automation and CRS robotics in India. The manufacturing of CNC machines started in 1990s. When AMC incorporated the CNC machine manufacturing the Indian market in this field was fully in foreign hands, but AMC performed well in the market with its good quality machines, low cost in compare to foreign companies and most important its after sales supports and services.

Besides CNC manufacturing, the company is also specialized in manufacturing of dynamic balancing machine. In 1984, AMC manufactured a balancing machine which can check the balancing of a cylinder of diameter 30 ft and 70 ft high. It was a record success for the company. Balancing machine for the engine crank shaft has been sold to many automobile companies by AMC.

1) Dynamic Balancing Machines

Dynamic Balancing Machines, from simple general purpose machines to automatic unmanned machines, or large turbine balanced at high speed in vacuum chambers, high accuracy machines for aerospace industry or other for balancing large rotor weighting 200 tones. And just in case of customer's special requirement, AMC can modify one of its existing machines to meet that requirement.

4) Factory Automation

Condition monitoring products of AMC fall in two categories. Indigenous products are being manufactured since late eighties at wholly owned subsidiary M/S Kosha Dynamics Pvt. Limited. The range includes vibration Meters, Analyzers, online monitors, accelerometers , stroboscopes and phase reference pick ups. Besides the R&D group is consistently working to deliver the custom built solutions to the satisfaction of the customers for imported products. AMC also has exclusive distribution arrangement with M/S Diagnostic Instruments Limited UK who manufacture and supply as generic vibration FFT Analyzers and data collectors. Marketing arrangements are in place with many other manufacturers from overseas to cover entire field of condition monitoring solutions for AMC’s customers.

The CNC Turret punch press m/c model that we studied at AMC is TAN256. It has hydraulic Ram operation.
