The purpose of citation is to give credit to the writer or owner of the words, without a copy, pasting the content. Plagiarism is a crime that a writer should not commit. VANCOUVER REFERENCE
This type of referencing is the numbering style of referencing and providing information to the readers. The common usage of this type of reference is in the subjects of medical science. The rules for referencing are given by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors. The way of writing the citation in Vancouver style is that a superscript number will be added to the top of information in the text and with the same number a piece of information will be provided in the reference list. The reference list should be included at the end with the Arabic numbers that are mentioned in the text over the information. The NLM guide provides the basis of information that is written for the Vancouver style. This style was developed by the medical council in Canada in Vancouver. This was the sole reason why this is called Vancouver Reference. There is a unique way of referencing in the Vancouver style.

Write the Arabic number in the round or square brackets after the citation. If the same source is used more than once, use the same number that was used the first time.
