Medications: There is no cure for Alzheimer’s disease. But in case of early Alzheimer’s, the medications like Donepezil (Aricept) or Rivastigmine (Exelon) included. The drugs tend to maintain high level of acetylcholine; neurotransmitter helps to aid memory in brain.

In case of mild Alzheimer’s, the medications like Donepezil (Aricept) or Memantine (Namenda) included. Memantine helps to block the effect of glutamate, releases in higher amount in Alzheimer’s disease and damages brain cells.
