Interventions for child abuse could help in creating a potential youth which can contribute immensely towards the betterment of society.
Prevention of child abuse can tremendously reduce the direct economic cost such as treatment cost for the physical abuse and increase in foster care cost when the children are removed from the families are not safe.
Increase in GDP of the company, according to the research it has been found that country spends 2% of the GDP on the cost incurred due to the child abuse.
Amy Morin (2020), have highlighted that too much discipline is generally more harmful rather than any positive correlation. Furthermore, the author revealed in the study that long term exposure to too much discipline (child abuse) is considered to be ineffective and can lead to behavior problem which may get worsen over time.
Comijs et al, (2013) have mentioned in the study which revealed that around 53% of respondents (age group 60–93) who were suffering from depression reported that they were the victims of the child abuse.
