Project Scenario:
Working as a Site Manager on a “Design and Build” project, you have been asked to develop and appraise a specification for your current project, in order for it to be successful.
Your project should be based on one of the following construction projects:
Affordable Housing in the Sheffield City Region
i) Using your specification, you are required to prepare and update a project management plan, using standard systems of time and resource tracking, whilst also identifying potential resources, costs and timescales. Some or all of the following should be developed/considered/discussed.
Resources and resource planning, Costs and cost planning
Again, using your developed specification, you are required to describe a range of appropriate techniques for generating solutions.
Task 4:
Research what the project brief is asking. How can you approach the problem, opportunity, hypothesis and requirements being posed?
Apply a range of secondary research sources to plan/scope and support the project and its findings. Secondary research sources may include textbooks, journal articles, newspapers and magazine articles (not factual accounts).
