Liquid and air medium
This occurs generally with the solid body. In this the molecules transfer their energy to slower moving molecules. This type of heat transfer follows Fourier’s law of heat conduction which states that rate of heat transfer through a material is proportional to the negative gradient in the temperature and to the area perpendicular to the gradient, through which the heat flows. This gives a constant which is known as thermal conductivity. Every material has different thermal conductivity.
