Company Analysis

Three former graduates of The University of Sydney started the company Study-mate Institution and they had convinced some retired professors to provide their guidance to the needy students with the help of this venture. The company’s mission or aim is to help the students who are not being able to buy costly books to make notes or having difficulties in understanding the study materials provided by their respective collages within the next 3 years. This institution helps to provide guidance and notes on Literature, Economics, History, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry to the students with a very low sum of 20 Australian dollars per month, whereas many similar institutions are charging around 50-100 Australian dollars per month (Hyde, 2018). However, as the number and capacity of the staff is low and there are not many students who have enrolled yet the company is not making enough profit. In this context, the three owners have decided to hire more graduates for different academic disciplines in order to increase the ranges of subjects and in turn increase the number of students enrolling in this institution for classes and notes.

At present there is a great demand for private tuition classes in Sydney and in all over Australia. This due to the fact that the courses offered in the leading universities are remarkably difficult and the classes provided by the colleges are only li9mited to 40 mins to an hour at maximum. Therefore, majority of the students in their first year of collage are unable to form a clearer notion of the courses that they have chosen out of passion or need (Webb et al., 2017). Therefore, opening up a institution that offers guidance and various notes regarding difficult subjects and topics proves to be a good initiative for the three friends who opened up Study-mate Institution.

In the case of Study-mate Institution, the customers are chosen from the different sections of the society within Sydney. In addition to that, the attention has been given to giving equal opportunity for all the students belonging to various ranges of intelligence. In addition to that, the emphasis will be given on the students who are in their first years of college (Kidson et al., 2019). The company in discussion will promote their services at the beginning of the academic sessions in July and January and will promote via leaflets, banners and online promotions in order to attract the attention of the customers. The institution will also take the aid of the alumni members of The University of Sydney for promoting their services to the needy students.

Collaborator Analysis

Here in this case the main collaborators of the institution are the members of alumni of The University of Sydney (USYD). In addition to that, the owners of Study-mate Institution are trying to align their operations with a similar type of institution of Sydney, named Tutoring for Excellence (Tutoring for Excellence, 2020).
