Muriel’s Mammogram

Ten days later Muriel did receive a letter to go back to Breastscreen. The letter advised that she would have to have more radiographs, an ultrasound and possibly a biopsy. Muriel delayed her appointment for a few weeks, as she was concerned about the diagnosis of cancer. When Muriel presents for her follow up appointment, she states that she has been feeling dizzy on standing and when first getting out of bed. Because of her anxiety she also advises that she has been off her food. Muriel also advises that she had a bit of a fall and hurt her left shoulder, which remains painful. Muriel’s skin is intact. Muriel wears glasses and tells you that she “can’t see a thing without them”.
