Particular dye used path finder during this process
Stenting and Angioplasty: A long tube called catheter is inserted into the blood vessel located at the subject's wrist or leg guiding towards the heart or the point of occlusion. A particular dye is used as path finder during this process. A ballon located at the top of cathere helps in clearing the occluded point and a stent is used to keep that point open for smooth Vascularisation.
Balloon Angioplasty: Here the plaque in arteries are cleared off by the use of a balloon fixed at the tip of catheter that result in increased flow of blood. After the procedure the ballon is removed from the vessel.
• Cost effective
