From the two test which I have taken has helped me in recognizing my strength and the weak areas. Through the test I have found that I have a good self-awareness which implies that I am good in three area they are emotional intelligence that is reading and understanding ones owns emotions, self-assessment that is I am good in analysing my own strength & weakness and in addition I also have self-confidence which means I know my self-worth. Through the test I have also understood that I have an excellent self-management skill which means that I have the capability to control my emotions, transparent towards maintaining the integrity and managing the responsibility, which is very good strength specially in sustaining in dynamic and challenging environment (Rezvani et al., 2016).
Through this test I was able to also analyse my weakness that is understanding others emotions which is very important skills needed when dealing with the diverse and cultural team members, that is why it is very vital for me to work on this area, another weak which I was able to recognize was in social awareness which highlight that I need to work on these competencies that are organizational awareness, networking, service orientation and awareness about the customers’ needs and wants (Rezvani et al., 2016). Even though in my weak areas I have scored which can be considered “moderate” which shows that there is a need for improvement which is very much required in the organization as then only I can sustain in the challenging work environment, through the test I have analysed that I lack organizational awareness, as I am not able to understand the current requirements of the organization, I also lack the flexibility to changes for to meet the new requirement of the organization.
Conflict management skill is also one of the important skills in order to become a global citizen, in the dynamic environment one should know how to solve the conflicts in amiable manner that is to enhance my skills by keeping a positive attitude and will engage in active listening.
To become a global citizen, I need to more flexible so that I can be what is required in the current market so for that I need to be more area about the current trends in the industry (Carson et al., 1995), i also need to develop some skills such as soft wills and self-awareness skills. Understanding others behaviour is also an important part in becoming a global citizen that is why it is very important for me to understand the feeling, ideas and emotions of the other for this it is important for me to engage with the cultural and diverse people (Carson et al., 1995).
