The incentive plan able address all the stated limitations effectively
Fails to provide appropriate best motivation: The incentive plan is not suitable to provide the best motivation to the employee, the incentive plan should be developed considering the needs and wants of the employees which can be targeted by the organization to motivate them. The plan does not provide enough incentive which can be used as a motivator for the employee.
The large time period between the actual performance and reward: The time period for providing incentives in the incentive plan is quite large which means there is a large gap between the performance of the employee and the rewards he/she received. When the gap is large is to creates a sense of demotivation for the employees and may also create dissatisfaction for the employees. Thus, it is very important to provide an incentive in less time frame.
