You could also think about it in terms of use and regulation: What kind of activities do people engage in? Who can contribute to the internet? How and why? How is this activity regulated? It is of course wise to stay away from general statements that don’t have any direct grounding in the reading, such as “the internet makes it easier for people to communicate.” This is not wrong, but it doesn’t really tell us anything interesting about how things work.
