Significance

• Conduct an analysis to assist an existing research project:

  • Undergrad/Postgrad theses

• • Find a good experimental paper without any modelling attached and try to model the problem.

  • Synthesise ideas from FE literature and challenges from other fields.

• • Ask your industry body reps (AIAA for example)

  • See a possible industry project below.

Clear Outcomes

Planning your analysis is very important. Don't just choose a topic because it is an interesting area; you need to know before you start what you hope to contribute.

Option 1: Continue from the topic proposal I wrote (Idea was accepted, but proposal need much more details)

Option 2: Propose a brand new topic

• As soon as possible, latest by 21 April 2015

• Need to be approved before doing the project

• This should be a continuation of Draft report

• 25-30 pages
