The Neoclassical have strict rules such as unity of time, place and action which forbid the mixing of tragedy and comedy one play that we read that follows the rules for The Neoclassical time was “ Phaedra” written by Jean Racine. I really enjoyed reading the play “ Phaedra” it definitely follow the Neoclassical strict rules the whole play takes place within 24 ours and it has exactly 5 Acts it also deals with morality that teach and entertain the readers. Phaedra” is a very entertaining play it has a Juicy plot and sequence of events not only that but the fact that the play was written so many hundreds of years ago but still have similar truth with things that are happening in the world today.
