Paul McCartney

Nineteen Sixty was the big year. That was the year Paul, George, John, and Ringo all said goodbye to the Quarry Men and hello to The Beatles. John as the guitar and vocalist, George as a guitarist, Stuart on drums, and Paul on bass guitar, but not for long also that was also know as the year McCartney took up bass guitar and took the credits of being two guitarist. Not long after Ringo Starr was introduced and took the place of Stuart (“Paul McCartney”).

After two years of hard work The Beatles were signed by EMI with Brian Epstein as their manager. “Love Do Me” produced by George Martin, that was the first big hit for the boys. It hit top 20 in the UK. in no time. With “Please, Please Me” coming as another big hit and “From Me To You” right behind it all leading to number one songs. This was the start to the Beatlemania Craze (“Paul McCartney”).

McCartney while on tour with Wings in Japan, was arrested and spent ten days in jail for possession of marijuana, but in the end he was let off with no charges. After the death on John Lennon on December 8, 1980 McCartney ended the musical group Wings. That was also the year McCartney released his solo album. Nineteen eighty-two was the year McCartney got his big hit, “Ebony and Ivory”. McCartney had many number one hits and great albums up to 2007 to which his last one was released (“Paul McCartney”).

The 1980’s were good years for McCartney. He appeared in “The Girl is Mine” a Michael Jackson hit. Also in 1989 McCartney went out on his first world tour since the wings over ten years ago and broke the attendance record in many countries. McCartney, in 1996 was working with BBC producers for a Beatles documentary when Paul, George, and Ringo met and began talking about it, that was the first time together since the death of John Lennon. McCartney even discovered knight hood through his life by Queen Elizabeth the II (“Paul McCartney”).
