A. Form a group of 3-4 members and decide on a name for your group. Create a team mission and vision and list 3 core values of your team. Choose one charity/not-for-profit organisation for whom to create an event. Brainstorm as a team and present your choice of charity to your tutor. List the attributes of the organisation of your choice and justify your choice based on your team’s vision, mission and core values.
B. Plan the Project
Your team will now create a project plan for the event you have chosen. A project plan is the lifeblood of any project and this will reflect how well you have planned time, money, and other resources for your project. Your project plan should also reflect your preparation for contingencies and having the means to address the unexpected. The project template plan is available on Moodle.
C. Execute One Project Deliverable: The Promotional Material
Most of the elements of your project plan will end up as plans. However, one deliverable will be fully executed – your promotional material which could be a poster/pamphlet/ a Moovly animated video.Design your promotional material and provide your lecturer with a digital copy of the pamphlet or poster or a link to your published Moovly video. Moovly and its use will be taught during a tutorial.
