Darwin based Imperial college is located in multi-level office building for students and employees work daily. There are no remote users. Imperial college has a decent to large computer network with high speed fiber internet connectivity. All of their computers lab has Windows 10 based desktops and are connected with cabled Ethernet CAT5E.
All of the network cabling is CAT5E twisted pair that goes from the office location to a wiring closet based in the downstairs. However, there is one wiring cabinet on each floor. Each cabinet is connected to the basement wiring closet via fiber backbone.
Imperial college have several departments, student’s administrative office is with 9 employees including Academic Manager, Associate Dean, Human Resources Manager and other administrative staff. Also, accounts office with 6 employees and both these divisions are on the Level One.
Career’s and Recruitment teams are based on the Level Two. There are a total of 12 employees which includes Career’s team and Recruitment team. Due to the nature of job all Career’s team member has laptop, but they are still connected via the Ethernet wire.
Level Three has academic team, classrooms and a front office. The front office shares a computer with the administrative office. There are 18 people in academic team, they use 18 computers to enter their academic records into the Imperial college system. There is also a large auditorium and conference room on the Level Three with a multimedia system that includes a podium computer, projector and surround sound speakers built into ceiling. Imperial college IT team has eight members, they work on each desktop which are connected with CAT5 Ethernet cable.
Management of Imperial college planned to invest in their network infrastructure and willing to have their onsite web and database servers with two high speed decided fiber internet connection to not cause any downtime. Also Imperial college wants to implement a network monitoring solution which provide in depth knowledge and logs and traffic flow of their network. Additionally, VoIP as well as videoconferencing services when staffs are not able to physically attend the meetings. Imperial college wants to manage its own server farm, which includes two domain controllers, one print server, one mail server, one database server, one internal web server, one external web server (having the firewall), a file server, a special server for the ERP system, and a backup server. Now, your roles as network administrator to propose a network design suit for their needs.
For proposed network for Imperial college you shall be considering high speed CAT cables where required, add wireless network with multiple Wireless Access Points (WAP)
1.A minimum of three wireless access points for each level where one should be in the middle
2.The wireless access points will overlap in the middle of the level, so you need to pick different wireless network channels for each end.
3.On the level three, there should be an additional WAP in the auditorium
4.The “Visitors” network should have a different SSID than the college wireless network. It should be configured to allow anyone to connect, with a password.
5.The password will be provided by the front office to any visitors and will be changed each week. staff wireless network should be configured to have the same SSID on all of WAP’s but different from the “Visitors” network.
6.The “Visitors” network should be connected to the institute’s servers for authentication (Imperial college MS Server 2016 enabled for the Active Directory with DHCP configured).

You are required to design the physical design of the network while considering the logical design of the network. In order to develop your physical design, you may need to make reasonable assumptions. You also have to complete your final network design report.
