Why is the focus on ergonomics for violin beginner learners so important? General practise of Ergonomics for musical instrumentalist learners Potential problems on the violin which makes it not ergonomically friendly and what can it do to your body? How did performers or instructional books (treatises) in the past comment on how to hold the violin? Was it ergonomically friendly? What are recent developments on improvement in ergonomically ways of playing the violin? What are my roles as a music teacher when teaching the violin to young pupils? Comment on: • Bodily health and wellbeing • Posture • How it improves technique • Instrument setup (shoulder-rests, chin-rests, instrument sizing) 1.
