Case Study # 1:
A physician on staff has recently received multiple complaints from line staff personnel. The complaints center on the physician’s use of harsh language with the staff and sometimes with patients. More recently, this physician has been arriving late to work causing delays in patient schedules. She is also taking longer than allowed lunch breaks.
The physician in question is one of the top 5 producers in the organization in terms of patient visits and revenue generation. This physician has been approached several times in the past concerning her late arrivals, poor treatment of personnel and sometimes patients and her unwillingness to be flexible and follow policies and procedures. None of these conversations have been documented in her personnel file.
The new Chief Medical Officer has requested you to provide to him a written set of recommendations on how best to handle this situation.
Prepare a one page written memorandum to the Chief Medical Officer providing your recommendations. Your recommendations must be evidence based and provide references to your rationale and support for your recommendations.
Case Study # 2:
The Chief Financial Officer is spearheading an initiative to improve employee engagement throughout the organization. The organization has researched the matter including obtaining proposals from outside vendors who specialize in measuring employee engagement and provide consulting services to improve employee engagement. The proposals from outside consultants have proven to be too cost prohibitive and the organization has decided to move forward with internal talent. The CFO has requested that you take the lead on the project.
Prepare a one page, single spaced brief written summary of your plan to improve employee engagement throughout the organization. Be specific and provide brief references supporting your plan of action.
Case Study # 3:

Please attach your scorecard and dashboard in Excel format as a separate attachment in your email submission.
