An organisations structure influences how people work, the reporting relationships they have, procedures, controls and decision-making processes. Explain ONE ELEMENT of organisational design a manager could consider when deciding on designing how the work is structured. Describe how this element could be applied in a workplace you have experienced or witnessed.

Emotional intelligence is considered an important part of the recruitment process for many employers these days. Explain what emotional intelligence is and why high levels of emotional intelligence is desired in the workplace. What could you do to improve your own emotional intelligence?

Briefly explain what group member roles are and the challenges that may exist which could cause problems in teams. Give a description of the differences between task roles and maintenance roles.
