Examples of clear specific goals for ADVERTISING include “link our brand with a warm fuzzy feeling” or “increase brand awareness.” * Please do not give quantitative goals unless you can show us what calculations you used to get to the specific numbers you propose. This means that if you say you either expect or wish to increase brand awareness by 10%, you will need to explain why you did not choose 5%, 15%, 20% or any other percentage greater than zero. Since quantified goals are usually very hard to link to a proposed advertising plan (one that has not run yet) without significant and extremely costly large data sets and mathematical modeling skills (e.g., you don’t have a budget for this) – We strongly recommend you stay away from quantified goals for this presentation!
