An entity taken its employees as assets rather than just costs as they know how to handle complexities with the support of all the employees. Tesco has been selected for the given project report that is based on describing the factors affecting job satisfaction in the business. This report emphasizes on several factors which needs to be considered by an entity like Tesco in order to improve its existing conditions of the corporation as this emphasis on two actors affecting performance of an enterprise. The role of an entity gets increases when they focus on important aspects of its business.

Background

One of the important organizations in the United Kingdom that steal the attention of most of the customers is TESCO. This organization provides a wide range of goods to the users in meeting their hidde needs to gain competitive advantage over its rivals in the markets. TESCO is lying in the retail sector industry, which is regarded as the emerging industry nowadays. This particular industry generates a higher amount of revenue to the UK’s economy. Business strength will get increases as entity extends its existing market share by dealing in this particular sector. In terms of profit element, this entity ranks among third largest firm in all across the world. Competitors are beaten by this entity by creating loyal and potential customers to increase its sales and the revenue. It is located in Hertfordshire, England, United Kingdom (Bhave and Glomb, 2016). The Biggest advantage enjoyed by this entity is that it is located in the famous place which attracts customers towards various tourist spots. London is regarded as the heart of the UK that it grabs the attention of most of the visitors towards the heritage culture. England is another famous place for trade that usually attracts a large amount of business person who travels from one place to another.

General merchandise is the basic product segment of this entity that covers grocery supermarkets located in all across the UK in order to satisfy different needs of customers (Menguc, Auh, Katsike and Jung, 2016). Unique products are provided by the business in its stores that facilitates an individual to save their time while purchasing all kinds of stuff under the same roof. The various products segment of Tesco includes electronics, books, clothing, furniture, petrol, software. It also provides financial assistance to an individual by offering financial services to its variety of clients. The various needs of customers will get fulfilled by offering telecom and internet services in order to capture the existing base of customers (Dobrow Riza, Ganzach and Liu, 2016). Diversification is one of the business strategy selected by TESCO in order to get a competitive advantage over all the competitors of the business lies in the external environment. An employee base of TESCO includes 476000 which strengthen an entity’s overall business in order to accomplish higher market opportunities in the external environment. Tesco achieves all targets and short deadline as they have a large base of employees to complete all deadlines in less time period. This entity is listed on the recognized stock exchange in London with a common FTSE component of 100 index market volatility will  be increased by investing this index, which is full of risks that enhances the role of the business in the external market.

Attitude is a psychological concept depicts the mental status of an individual that creates good or bad behaviour of a person (Mauno and Ruokolainen, 2017).  According to the resulys ogf brainstorming, the personality of an individual is described as a mental state that develops the skills of a person with the passage of time. The nature of a person has several flavours that help in showcasing thei personality to evaluate by another person.

There is a close link between attitude and work pay as the positive attitude of a person will directly affect the working pay as the positive attitude of a person will increase its existing work pay.

Summary of the assignment says that the job satisfaction is regarded as one of the important elements in order to improve the existing business performance of TESCO. The report has revealed two important factors that affect the job satisfaction in the employees working with an entity. These two factors identified in the above report includes attitude of an individual and pay or salary provided by the business enterprise in order to satisfy all the needs and wants of all other individuals working in the corporation in accomplishing all the desired market aims and objectives of the business concern.
