pose of education is to learn new concepts that will help one have a broader perspective of how life is. Additionally, people get to unlearn misconception ideas that they might have had before the learning program (UNSW Sydney Teaching, 2018). The same applies to my learning experience this semester; there is a lot I have discovered that I could not have known were it not for the lessons.  My perception of what research involves was entirely different from what I knew previously. The lessons had a positive impact on the assignments I did in the cause of the semester. I now got a clear picture of what is expected of me when conducting a research (Asikainen et al., 2013). I am now confident in myself and can carry out any duty allocated to me that requires a deep study. Also, the learning experience will not only help me through my studies but also later when I am in the job industry.

The learning experience has impacted and will continue to play a role in various aspects of my life. One, the research learning experience has had an impact on the course am pursuing this semester. My learning experience has made it easy for me to conduct further studies by myself especially in the library. Secondly, the experience has a direct impact on the program I am taking on the campus. My program is business related and in a business program, current events affect the fundamentals of the sector. Learning more about research has equipped me with skills that shade light on current business-related events. Thirdly, I aspire to be a manager or at least own my own company in the later years of my career (Cuthbert, 2012). As a manager it is a requirement to understand my target market and the product I will be selling. My research techniques will come in handy in my managerial position (Vanderstoep and Shaughnessy, 2012). Finally, I now view life differently, especially when making critical decisions. I have learned to make a thorough analysis before making a conclusion.   

The entire research class learning process was exciting; it turned out to be much more interesting than I expected. The various readings and books were of great importance during the course. However, some concepts in the book were sophisticated and took me time before I digested them. The learning process also had discussion sessions where I had plenty of time to discuss various topics with fellow students. These sessions made me discover more as we touched on more aspects that were not handled in class (Medium, 2018). Additionally, I was tasked with personal research assignments that gave me a chance to put what I was learning into practice. This aspect helped me improve my research and analysis skills.

The one task I was allocated by the lecturer to enhance the research learning process was on business research. The topic helped me learn different research methods that can be used depending on the type of research (Universal Class, 2018). Furthermore, the business research process entails the study of different players in a business environment which is a type of what happens in any research type (Suttle, 2018). The study also elaborated on the importance of assessing the weaknesses and strengths of a research topic.

In summary, I am grateful for everything I learned in the research course this semester. I feel I have added enough information to the knowledge I had before on this study. The methods of research studied in this learning session were so articulate and I now understand how each can be used and in what cases (Relojo, 2018). Additionally, I strongly believe that I have greatly improved in my writing and reading skills, critical thinking and analysis skills, and my research skills ever since I started studying the course.

The class has opened up my mind and I am optimistic that it will improve my chances of attaining my degree. The business research subject was so important to me since I have the desire of being an executive officer in the future. I will definitely polish the skills I have learned and integrate them in my career plans. Other than my career life, the study will make ease my social life as I will apply the research lessons in handling life issues. The entire learning process was thorough but so profiting to my life in school and outside.
