Answer

In most cases, writers tend to be compelled to write for different reasons. For instance, a writer could write so as to express his personal life experience, the impact existing in their lives and also lives of their readers. Others tend to write for education empowerment which benefits the writer and the reader in a personal and professional manner (Compagnon, 2014). In regards to literature writers write so as to portray a message, ideas, perspective or experience.

Additionally, literature benefits us in broadening of our vocabulary as it teaches us on several subjects. Literature also assists us in personal and professional manners. Professionally literature could act as a source of financial security for a writer, it tends to document the past through the provision of history (Lambropoulos, 2014).

Personally, as a child I enjoyed reading and writing poetry, overtime I lost the drive and interest in poetry. Hence, I would gladly like to go back to that by forgetting my imagination. Personally, I want to think freely without the interruption of any mental blockage. It seems that my brain knows what it wants the problem is transferring it to paper which isn’t easy. Therefore, it would be my pleasure to write out of my comfort zone and greatly expand on my writing skills as a writer.  

Classmate’s views

I have viewed one of my classmate’s opinions of why people write literature review. I agree with his views that the creativity in people requires them to find a new way of expression. Therefore, the only way they could do this is by writing a literature review. An example used by him is that painters use paints for expression purposes as writers use words as a method of explaining their views. Therefore, writers often write to inform, amuse, explore or inspire.

My second classmate has developed the perception that writer’s tend to engage in literature to explore their imaginary characters. They tend to be structured around plots and use a lot of words. In my case, I don’t support this view because development of literature concentrates around informing, amusing, inspiring and telling a good story without recording non-fictions record of events and lives which is the reason as to why I contradict with his view.
