Answer 1

The authors have identified the following drivers of change for the future of home health service. The first driver is Demographic impetus and cost. The rising population of old age people in the United States is one of the major factors of change in health care. Due to the graying of the population, the expenditure on health is also increasing. The second driver is Health care delivery system reform. The health care delivery system reform aims to achieve the Triple aim, i.e., improvement in the experience of the patient care, improvement in the health of the population, decreasing the per-capita cost of the healthcare. Third is Misaligned incentives persist and block progress. The incentives which are misaligned are the barrier in the way of progress.  The fourth driver is consumers driving care. The healthcare system is striving to empower the patients in their care which is ultimately making them engage in their care.
