It comes in handy with body shape recognition technology that can detect your body shape and this helps in making informed decision while doing your online selection of clothes to purchase for your drawer, sounds extremely good for consumers, right?

The app will have a feature that shall act as your personal assistant in terms of styles related advices, for example on current trendy outfits, vacation outfits and also the styles to be avoided. Among the many opportunities that MacStyle App will offer are;

Among the threats that shall be facing the firm are;

Another threat to wrestle with will be constant change in consumers’ preference. The firm shall constantly keep track of this trend and make necessary improvements.

Another threat posed is the constant updates of current apps by competitors. This will force the firm to follow suit or always be at the forefront of effecting such changes in order to remain relevant. (Chen, 2013)

Government actions facing MacStyle and the industry as a whole

Strict compliance with agreements, laws and regulations. State and federal laws and regulations are required to be adhered to even after the app has been developed for distribution (Bell, 2014).

Consumer-facing agreements. App developers are required to develop the terms and conditions to be applied to their end users. These terms and conditions must be strictly adhered to and agreed to prior to downloading and installation of the app

Securing of the app-related intellectual property rights. This will help in times of patent infringement and help pursue litigation (Bell, 2014).

Determination of the underlying business agreements. There must be a clear agreement on how the revenues from the sales that happen through the apps will be shared between the retailors and the app producer. (Bertot, 2016).
