Analysis

It is very important to select the best university, while going for our degree program because it will help in deciding our future. Many factors come into consideration while choosing the best university that will suit to all our needs. It is important that before we enrol ourselves we need to a proper research.  In a country like Australia, that has so many good universities to offer that provides variety of degree courses to pursue, the task becomes a bit difficult. Since it is the question of a lifetime, we should never make these decisions in haste and take our time, to choose the best with all the resources that we have. ( Brands, K. M., & Elam, D. 2017)

Research

It is important that while we are planning for our higher studies we should choose such institutes that provide the best of all worlds, and we should do a thorough research on the alma mater. Few factors that a student must consider while choosing a college, are –

College is not just the place for getting education; it is also the place that is very much responsible for shaping our personality and plays an important in our overall development. It is important to consider the social aspect of any university. It is also important that we do not choose any university only on the basis that they are popular for some or the other courses. We should see that the specific university that we choose should complement to the degree program that we want to pursue in the future. The location of the college and the distance from the college must be considered while taking this decision. ( Zwick, R. 2017) The students also focus on factors like what is the average placement package that the college will offer, and what will the future be like when one graduates from the same. The size of the institution also matters, big institutes provides more exposure as they have more resources, better facilities and some students focus on getting into smaller institutes. The rules are more lenient there and so they have time for doing part time jobs.  Also the kind of faculty that they have and kind of facilities that they provide also plays an important factor in deciding the kind of institute we want to enrol in. ( Eide, E. R., Hilmer, M. J., & Showalter, M. H. 2016) In the whole of Australia there are more than 100 institutes that provide degree in accountancy, and to choose the best among all of them is difficult. In order to conduct our research for choosing the best, we can browse the internet, sorting the institutes based on various criteria. We can also go and have a talk in with our seniors and our elders who have better knowledge in this field, and can help us in this regard. Accountancy is a type of subject that along with theoretical knowledge we need a good practical exposure too. It is important that we should select those institutes that along with imparting the best of education, provides us with good practical exposure. All these research is very important for taking the important decisions of choosing the best institute for pursuing the accountancy degree. ( Dillon, E. W., & Smith, J. A. 2017)

Evaluation

After doing the required research, from all the relevant sources that we can lay our hands on, the results need to be evaluated. From the entire analysis and research, one thing is clear that everyone has a different purpose for studying and choosing the particular university. After sorting out those colleges that are far from my home, or those that fail to provide major practical exposure that is needed in my chosen field of study, I was able to sort out three colleges that were almost on par with my level of requirements. (Joy, S. P. 2017) The top three institutes in my list were the University of South Australia, University of Queensland and the Central Queensland University. All the three are top rated universities and provide wide scale exposure in the field of accountancy. The overall socio development environment is top notch, with students from different cultures coming here to get educated. These institutes also had developed placement cells that will help the students when they graduate and face the real world. During my research, I came across many such universities that were very popular for some other degree courses and were imparting knowledge in accountancy, but the faculty was not up to the level desired.  After a lot of evaluation and research, the best institute that suits along my requirement will impart me the best education and exposure in my chosen field of study is the Central Queensland University. ( Creswell, J. W., & Poth, C. N. 2017)

The best institute that I will choose for pursuing my accountancy degree will be the Central Queensland University (CUQ). It is one of the best institutes in the whole of Australia, providing higher education and research facilities in more than twenty subjects and areas. This institute that was founded some twenty five years ago, has grown into one of the pioneer institute of the country, providing engaging , responsive and overall development to thousands of students. It is also one of the favourite institutes for the international students. ("Why choose CQUni - CQUniversity", 2017)In 2003, it has received five star ratings from the Good Universities Guide (GUG). It is also one of the top regional institutes. It has the best of faculty, and the placement is very good. Most of the students, who come here, often go up to become top CEO and the CFO, and are placed in big multinational. The degree over here will not only to build a prospering career not just in Australia but also the overseas. The seniors who have graduated from the institute speak well about the cultural exposure they have experienced there, with the students from different parts of the world coming there. The overall experience of studying there is enriching and makes one prepare for the life ahead in the best ways possible.
