East African Famine and Drought Crisis (Somalia)

Write a solution for the problem.

Answer:

The impact of the draught can be minimized with the help of an advanced machine known as the Janicki Omni processor. The foremost purpose of this machine is to produce clean drinking water and electricity from the human faeces. This lengthy process starts with the entry of the human sludge into the machines with the help of large tubes which is known as the sewer sludge where the sludge is boiled heavily (Seal et al. 2017). The solids particles and the water vapour are separated with the help of the filtering machines.

The solid particles are then dried and feeded to a fire with the help of high pressure and high temperature steam. The collected steam is then inserted into the steam engine (Watts 2017). The steam engine drives a generator which helps in the production of electricity which can be purposefully used to maintain the livestock and agricultural sector due to the adverse conditions as these sectors contribute most to the GDP of Somalia (Villarreal 2015). The water vapour which runs through the boiling process is made to cross through a cleaning system and final resulting the production of clean drinking water. Many of the existing problems of East Africa related to adverse weather conditions can be resolved using this advanced machine (Shiferaw et al. 2014).

Conclusion

From the above paper, it can be concluded that the negative impacts of the solar radiation in the East African countries such as Somalia can be effectively minimized with the help of effective alternate strategies such as the practice of the reverse osmosis and the Janicki Omni processor systems. The problems related to droughts such as scarcity of water, electricity and undernourishment can be minimized with the help of the discussed strategies. The prime industries which are mostly affected by the famines and the droughts such as the livestock and the agricultural industry can be saved significantly with the help of the discussed solutions of this paper. The impact of this adverse environmental weather conditions on the socio economic goods can be improved with the help of these strategies. Productivity in the agricultural sectors can be increased considering both the individual farming and bigger agricultural organizations. The irrigation canals can be revived which can lead to the growth of agricultural products. The banana plantations can also be revived with the help of the proposed strategies. The management of the waste water and the human faeces can get a new breakthrough. The insecurities related to the availability of food will be removed after the incorporation of the effective techniques. The clean drinking water can also help these countries to get rid of the water-borne diseases such as Cholera as well as diseases like Measles. There are different sorts of nutritional losses in these countries during the famines and the draughts which can be minimized if clean drinking water is available to them. The discussed reverse osmosis water distillation system can be effectively incorporated in Somalia due to its location near the equatorial region in East Africa which can be effectively used to the generation of the photovoltaic power and the Janicki Omni processor system should be implemented very strategically so that the desired results are obtained.
