Describe the Social Work with Diverse Populations.

Answer:

This case study has been prepared to determine the facts of the problems which clients are facing in their lives. This case study reflects the problems which have been faced by Rosa in handling her family issues and tackling with her kids. Being a social worker in STAARS, it is evaluated that Rosa has stuck in her life and making extra efforts to overcome all the negative factors to manage her family problems effectively. It is evaluated in this case study that Fernando and Rosa both are busy in their lives and had several things to do in Australia. The main major problem which they both are facing is related to handling issues and tacking their child Ana and other her younger brother and sisters. Ana has been performing not well in her studies due to less controlled behavior of her parents (Glover, Ronning, and Reynolds, 2013). In addition to this, Australia is also open economy which has high influence on the people’s living standard.  Therefore, if Rosa wants to manage these problems then she needs to manage her full day activities in determined approach. In this case, both parents are busy in their lives and giving less time to their children. It is considered that Perhaps Ana has faced these problems due to the negative influence of society on her behavior. Ana has shown negative decline graph in its personal development and studies. It has been considered as the serious issue for Rosa. Rosa is not able to manage these problems due to her busy schedule and her husband is also free. Fernando is too busy in her life. He comes late at home due to his double shift work. Therefore, Ana and her brothers are more inclined towards getting affected by bad habits which may result to their negative behavior (NICHD Early Child Care Research Network, 2016). If Rosa and Fernando could manage their work in effective manner then they could easily take care of their child. If Rosa and Fernando could manage their work then only Ana and her other brother and sister could be taught good things under their guidance. Ana and her siblings is getting influenced by the culture of Australia as they have no one to take care and navigate them properly. They are observing and leaning what they are seeing around them. Being a social worker, it has been observed that both Rosa and Fernando are stuck with their work and need to manage that accordingly for the bright future of their kids. There are following factors while determining the positive solution to overcome the problems which Rosa and Fernando are facing such as their kids behavior, Australian culture, and economic environment, conflict between Rosa and Fernando and how much time they are spending on productive and non productive things. Rosa and Fernando have come to the social worker of STTARS because they are worried about the future of their kids. It has been evaluated that their kids are not making proper efforts towards study and other important things.  The main issue in this case is related to the negligence to take care of Ana and her other siblings. Other issues are related to time management of their parents (Rosa and Fernando) and Australia open culture. It may be noticed that Australian culture is very open. If these children are free to do anything without any supervision and guidance then they might end up with having bad habits and stuck in some kind of trouble. The mission of STTARS is to provide best possible services for the betterment of clients (Nawrot and Doucet, 2014).The Vision is to help all the clients with a view to accomplish their set objectives and goals as per our own working style. In order to help Rosa and Fernando two member of team would come to discuss these issues with them. After that Rosa and Fernando would be asked to make changes in their working schedule. For instance, if come is out for working then other one should be at home. They need to make proper level of work distribution among both. If they could not manage their time schedule then they have to face these problems throughout the time. In addition to this, they could also go for hiring a care taker for their kids. The care taker should be hired for 24 *7 hours services. As kids are small and in order to create bond with them care taker must be around them for 24*7 hours (Rapp, Bachrach and Rapp, 2013). There could be so many other options which they could also do like registering their kids for some kind of learning activities, sending them to boarding schools or keeping them under the strict attitude. However, these kids of options would create negative thoughts in kid’s minds. Therefore, it could be inferred that both the parents Rosa and Fernando are making their best to earn good money for their living as they both are not financial stable. In order to earn money for living they are doing extra work. However, the tentative plan would be that both Rosa and Fernando should look for a good care taker who could take responsibility to handle kids. In addition to this, they both also have to manage their work accordingly for the better management of their works (NICHD Early Child Care Research Network, 2016). They also must try to manage their works in such a manner that one should be always with kids at any time. Now in the end, it would be concluded that if Rosa and Fernando want to overcome their problems then they must under the time management in their daily works. However, earning money for living is as important as other things. It is also necessary to form a better future for their kids otherwise it may result into a big intangible or intangible loss to them (Forster, 2014).
