The primary motive of this paper is to evaluate the causes of the ineffective use of the social media like various blogs and different social networks in sharing ideas for supporting different business groups. There needs to be enhancement while communicating with the help of different social media platforms as the accuracy of the information helps in evaluating the effectiveness of the work processes. The research paper will provide effective recommendations which will help in evaluating the effectiveness of enhancing the business communication processes.

The organization is a multinational company that operates in five different countries like Australia, Vietnam, India, Oman, and Nigeria. The main purpose of the organization is to distribute as well as manufacture agricultural products in local and also in international markets. The organization contains about 8000 employees all in the five countries and has 1 million customers in the whole world. The main headquarter of this organization is in Australia and in recent years the company faces many communication issues in the local and international market both.

The main purpose of the social media in an organization is to share the opinion and ideas regarding the product and services to the customer and also to the supplier for the needs of the firm. But in the recent years, the organization faces a huge problem due to the excessive use of social media (Rubtsova et al., 2015). Generally, the blogs, wikis and social networks are used as the social media for sharing the ideas and supports the team in an organization (Swani et al., 2017). In present days, the uses of such social media in an excessive manner affect the business at a huge rate. But the use of such networking media is essential in an organization for upgrading the working system and also for providing an appropriate atmosphere to the employees. As per Nickerson, (2015) the blog mainly provides the view of the organization where each worker and the leader can share their thoughts and opinion in the social media. So it is an important platform for each of them. Apart from this on this blog, everyone can share they are so sometimes it is not very fruitful for the organization (Cardon and Marshall, 2015).  There are various reason by which the organization can use this social media in an excessive manner. The employee creates an account on the social networking site for completing the work within a certain period of time. Another reason for using communication through social media is that the company does not reach the customer directly so they can communicate with the customers effectively as per their satisfaction level. Hence it causes a major failure of the organization as they mainly depend on the social networking site for selling their product (Scott, 2015). As the technology is advancing at a huge rate so it a platform of interacting with people of own countries and also in other counties too. Along with this, the excessive use of social media can cause a problem to the users in terms of incorrect information. The Wikipedia that is mainly used for searching any types of information becomes edited by everyone so the information is not properly correct and thus the people learn the wrong things from this site. Apart from this posting a huge number of data in one day also reduces the chance of looking at the important files provided by the company to their workers and also to the customers (Cook, 2017). The advertisements done with the help of social media also distracts many people from the primary message that has been provided by the organization. Thus it creates a disturbance to the people by sharing the ideas of the organization in terms of social network. This creates a huge issue as anyone can share their idea of the organization portal and thus the secrecy of the organization has been reducing due to that fact (Bargiela-Chiappini and Nickerson, 2014). Due to this issues, the worker does not maintain their roles and responsibility in the organization which affected the organization on a huge basis.

It is evident to know that the information provided throughout the internet is not fully correct and therefore, the use of various blogs cannot be taken as the effective and reliable resource while communicating between the teammates. Development of the proper and suitable system is important in order to increase the reliability of the data and information transmitted between the team members (Wamba and Carter, 2016). One of the issues that is increasing throughout the social media platforms is the manipulating of data and transmission of fake news that generates great amount of impact on performing business activities. Few of the other issues are the ineffective conducting of the meetings among the team members, missed messages, contact confusion. The miscommunication between the team members of an organization critically hampers the execution of the business procedures.

On the other hand, it has been seen that sometimes the data transferred with the help of social media is inaccurate or incorrect and therefore there should be some verification done that the data area accurate so that there exist no confusions.  Next it is recommended that the use of the various blogs as well as the websites like Wikipedia should be reduced or stopped as they include features like editing which can be done by another person. Therefore, the information posted is 100% correct or incorrect cannot be identified. Moreover, it is recommended that reputable sources should be used as they help in providing the correct data which finally reduces the communication issues executed with the help of effective communication processes. It is strongly recommended that development of communication tools promotes the growth of the concerned business processes and thus, it should be practiced among the team members for sharing the exact data and the work procedures.  

The organization can posts attractive posts on the social media websites in order to retain the attention of the customers as well as to communicate regarding the services and product offered by the firm. Another recommendations is the development of an IT monitoring and control department will help in tracking the effectiveness of the information posted online and the feedback received by the customers which can be used to enhance the overall performance of the organization by promoting the desired growth of the business.
