  • In 1987, it was founded by former Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser who led it until 2002.

Their work to provide equalities to the people shows a powerful and effective opportunity to end extreme poverty. When a woman overcomes the poverty, she will always try that other people must overcome this situation.

 My Contribution

If I am a student and I had to act as a professional then:

  • I don't have to spend money if I can't. I can give them my time.         
  • Some of the activities which I can do are:
  • Teaching: I need to go to orphanages and teach any subject of my choice to the children there.
  • Whenever there is a crisis I can help others by collecting.
  • By visiting old age homes and spend some time with the people there.
  • By conducting events or competitions for them.

Contribution of the organization towards the global community

CARE's aim is to take care of the individuals and families of the poor communities in the world. It is done by:

  • By strengthening capacity for self-help,
  • By providing economic opportunity,
  • By delivering relief in emergencies,
  • By influencing policy decisions,
  • By addressing discrimination.

CARE Australia’s main focus is to support the women and girls of the developing countries to fight against poverty. Their projects cover development of community including agriculture and food security; education; health; economic development; nutrition; water; sanitation and environmental Health
