This is my oral presentation on "why were public museums modern?"
It is a four minute talk and the subject is reason and revolution. Attached is the criteria and notes about the presentation.
I need to make sure I refer to what we have been learning about in class as well using specialised terminology.

Answer:

1) The ability of the Group to plan, co-ordinate and develop the presentation in and out of class time. This includes a written presentation plan to be shown to the Instructor in Session 8.

2) The ability to examine the to
pic from a range of perspectives (this needs to include the social, cultural, economic, political and/or historical context).

3) The ability to compare past and present perspectives on the topic

4) The ability to link your topic with the core readings, slide and class presentations available in Session 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9, and Session discussions

5) The ability to use specialised terminology accurately

6) The ability to support an argument with evidence

7) The ability to distinguish reputable internet sites and use academic articles and books (this is to be done with a view to discerning good sources of information from more scurrilous sites). (Ensure the website has either a .edu;.org; .net; .gov URL. Avoid .com sites unless it is reputable. This information is typically found in the About tab on the site.

8) The ability to present a well-rounded exposition and analysis of the topic in the time limit.

9) The ability to present a co-ordinated and attractive PowerPoint presentation. All images should have captions and Harvard Style referencing should be used for all quotations and other referencing.

10) The ability to clearly answer questions about your topic and its association with the overall Theme.

11) You are to upload your individual Topic presentation to the Assessment Dropbox 3 on the day of the presentation.

12) The Group’s PowerPoint presentation is to be uploaded to the Assessment 3 Dropbox on the day of the presentation. A nominated member of the group is to upload the Group presentation along with their own individual Topic presentation.

Introducation:

The final presentation will take the form of a single PowerPoint document which individual students will speak to. The Group PowerPoint will include an Introduction to the overall Theme and a Conclusion, between these will be the individual topics ordered logically and creatively.

The Group will need to decide who will give, or how, the Theme Introduction and Conclusion (each 2 minutes).

The Group will need to decide in which order the individual topics are presented (each 3 minutes, MAX 4 MINUTES). The order in which the topics are presented may help the communication of the overall Theme, and therefore improve the Group presentation as a whole.

Your final grade will be assessed once your individual Topic presentation has been uploaded to the Assessment 3 Dropbox.
